When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty. -John Muir
“I’m friends with a spaceman”
This person has taught me to believe in myself even when you’re stranded in the middle of nowhere. This person has guided me to places and times where I’ve found instances of my future based on my present decisions. This Spaceman has embodied perseverance within me. He has made me strong enough to acknowledge the feeling of guilt when I commit a mistake. This Spaceman has made me capable enough to not rely on fate but to write my own destiny.
We are just like astronauts stranded in a tiny dot imprisoned by stars and universe. We run through these stars to explore what lies beyond that. What lies beyond the light that guides us. We are trapped in a society of caged ideas and barricaded perspectives. Yet we don’t fear for tomorrow cause anxiety runs in our system, curiosity is the fuel that has driven humanity. But we haven’t asked ourselves yet, that whether this curiosity will drive us to our extinction or to the next generation?
I’m in love with space, because it defines who we are. Universe defines how powerless yet determined we are. Stars define that light cannot exist without darkness. Sun defines we need to rely on somebody, we need to trust somebody.
I have been friends with this spaceman since a very long time and this spaceman lives within me. This spaceman is confined within my soul driving me towards the unknown. This spaceman has compelled me to explore because exploration is the combination of progress and embracing the failures due to the risks we take. This spaceman has made me who I am today. This spaceman within me has molded me for an uncertain tomorrow. This Spaceman has restored hope within me in my darkest of times and has been my constant companion even when the world is huge but seemed cold and lonely.
